The CEDDET Foundation is a non-profit organization, which fosters development cooperation with countries across the globe, particularly with Latin America.
Its primary aim is to contribute to the institutional modernization and strengthening of the various public agencies (within governmental, legal and legislative power) in beneficiary countries by exchanging knowledge, expertise and best practices among civil servants and professionals. It is a regional public good rendering services to public administrations in the countries it works.
CEDDET relies on knowledge management, innovation and an efficient use of ICT: online training (e-learning), online networks of professionals and experts and technical assistances.
CEDDET works alongside several multilateral, international and national institutions on institution-building programs: World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), EuropAid (European Commission), FAO, United Nations (UNCTAD, UNEP), MERCOSUR, SICA (Central American Integration System), etc.; and Spanish bodies such as AECID (Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation), Parliament, CGPJ (General Council of the Judiciary), various Ministries, AEAT (Spanish Tax Agency), OEPM (Spanish Patents and Trademarks Office), INE (National Institute of Statistics), AENA (Spanish Airports and Air Navigation), The Court of Auditors, IEF (Institute of Fiscal Studies), INAP (National Institute of Public Administration), Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, ICEX (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade), CNMC (National Commission of Markets and Competition), etc. (see more collaborating institutions).
